**About Jordan Volz** Jordan Volz is a Certified Public Accountant and entrepreneur. As a CPA, Jordan focused on transaction advisory services, specializing in business, security, and intangible asset valuations, and strategic finance consulting. As a Co-Founder of Awsm, Jordan helped develop a legal framework based on the use of cooperatives as a minority interest, co-authored a white paper outlining the framework, and helped develop a software platform which allowed organizations to form performance based distributed ownership pools to fuel growth and deepen customer loyalty. For this work, Awsm received the 2024 1st place Utah Business Software Innovation award.
Jordan graduated with his Bachelors and Master’s Degrees in Accounting from the University of Utah and began his career as a Trader for Fidelity Investments before moving to the Bay Area to work for Grant Thornton in their Transaction Advisory Services group. Following his time at Grant Thornton, Jordan worked on Affordable Housing & Tax Credit Investments for Mitsubishi Financial Group/Union Bank before returning to Utah to work at Scalar as a Vice President of Valuations. While at Scalar Jordan led over 500 engagements and began building the firms litigation services and expert witnessing practice. He previously received his Certified Valuation Analyst credential (CVA) and his Master Analyst in Financial Forensics (MAFF) credential from the National Association of Certified Valuation Analysts (NACVA).
