About Humberto

Humberto holds a Bachelor's degree in Liberal Arts and is currently a candidate for a Master's degree in Political and Government Studies. His academic research has been in political philosophy, focusing on democracy and freedom. Under this approach, he worked as a project coordinator in the think tank Proyecto Base.

He has also worked on humanitarian projects in Venezuela as MEAL coordinator in Alimenta la Solidaridad with international partners. He worked with vulnerable communities in Caracas on violence-related topics through his work as Research and Monitoring Specialist at Caracas Mi Convive.

Currently, Humberto is the Chief Technology Officer of ProBox, the only digital observatory that monitors the Influence Operations (IO) and interactions of the Venezuelan socio-political conversation on Twitter, using hypotheses and mathematical formulas to determine the organicity of the activity on this platform in Cuba, Nicaragua, and Venezuela. Humberto is a member of the first cohort of the Venezuelan Emerging Leaders Atlantic Council's program, being selected as one of the critical profiles to coordinate dialogue and networking for humanitarian action in the country through his experience on digital rights in Latin America.
